JFW and Word 2007

Hi everyone, I'm writing this at work, so please excuse any typos. Lately, I've been having a really strange problem with Jaws. I use JFW version 8.0 on my laptop. I use Word 2007 at work a lot. Whenever I use my backspace key, Jaws doesn't speak. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I have Jaws set on the laptop setting. Does anyone have any suggestions as how I can fix this? I do case notes a lot at work, and having a backspace key is quite helpful. Please Help!!!! Thanks, Brenda
